The Columbus Division of Police (CPD) prioritizes innovation, exceptional customer service, and fostering strong community relationships to enhance public safety. CPD is dedicated to leading in transparency, technology, and service provision for the protection of Columbus, Ohio residents.

CPD proudly introduces the Columbus Police mobile app, a complimentary resource offering users the latest news, photos, videos, events, crime alerts, and public safety updates regardless of location. The application includes a unique anonymous tip submission feature designed to promote collaborative efforts in creating a safer environment for our neighborhoods and families in Columbus.

The application provides the following functionalities:

 <li>Media Releases: Stay informed with updates from the Chief and Division members.</li>
 <li>Crime Maps: Access real-time crime activity maps within your neighborhood or citywide.</li>
 <li>Submit a Tip: Assist CPD in combating crime by submitting tips anonymously or engaging in chat with an investigator.</li>
 <li>Alerts: Register for alerts via SMS or email.</li>
 <li>Twitter: Connect with CPD through a direct link to their Twitter account.</li>
 <li>Facebook: Engage with CPD updates and community news via Facebook.</li>
 <li>Nextdoor: Receive citywide and neighborhood-specific data by signing up for Nextdoor.</li>
 <li>Ring Neighbors: Access instant crime and safety alerts from your neighbors via Ring Neighbors.</li>
 <li>Videos: Watch content from CPD’s YouTube Channel.</li>
 <li>Instagram: Gain direct entry to CPD’s Instagram page.</li>
 <li>CPD Recruiting: Explore details on applying to become a Columbus Police Officer.</li>
 <li>File a Report: Easily submit non-emergency police and accident reports online.</li>
 <li>Links: Connect with other City of Columbus departments and local agencies.</li>
 <li>Police Substations: Locate all CPD police stations and substations conveniently on a map.</li>
